Jan Powell, a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents has been involved in agency since 1972, working side by side with some of the leading lights of the industry and helping shape the way we buy and sell property today. However, there was always a secret desire to one day open her own company, and in 1991 she realised that dream and opened the doors to the first Westwood branch.

Mark Dawson began his career in agency even before he left school. Back in 1985 he worked on a Saturday for a large corporate company, where even then it was obvious he was a rising star, and joined them full time soon after. In 1993 he joined Jan and, never losing sight of the gutsy determination to succeed that singled him out as a Saturday boy, focused his natural flair and energy into making Westwoods the success it is today.

The Manager



Seduced away from university and an academic career in 2000, Jason Rugg started at Westwoods as a trainee negotiator, where he soon demonstrated his astute insight and natural ability to draw the best from those around him which made him the perfect choice for management.
